1. Responsibility of Elefante Travel

Elefante Travel makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of information provided on this web site. Elefante Travel’s sole objective is to assist customers in verifying availability of travel products and services and in making bookings and purchases in due form. After you have completed your booking on the web site, you will promptly receive an invoice from Elefante Travel and Elefante Travel will send you your travel documents in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 of these General Terms and Conditions of Elefante Travel.


2. Responsibility of Customer

You, the user attest that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this aggreement and to use this web site in accordance with all terms and conditions herein. You also confirm that all information supplied by you, members of your family and fellow travellers is true and accurate.


About Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to enquire on and obtain all required travel documents. Elefante Travel is not liable for any and all consequences of inappropriate or missing travel documents. A valid passport is mandatory for all travel outside your country. Some countries require that your passport be valid for six months beyond the date of your return to homeland. One parent travelling with a child under age 18 may have to obtain a notarized letter of consent signed by the parent not travelling. Customers are responsible for checking which documents are required and then making certain that they have the necessary documents in hand prior to departure. Customers failing to provide the required documents may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities, without further recourse or the possibility of a refund. Entry into another country may also be refused to a customer even if he or she has the required travel documents. 3. Privacy Policy

Respect of our customers’ privacy is of utmost concern to Elefante Travel. Elefante Travel never sells the names of individual customers or any other information drawn from their personal profiles to third parties. All direct communication between you and Elefante Travel remains confidential. For the purposes of booking your trip and processing the transaction related thereto, however, we do require certain basic personal information. When you reserve or purchase travel services through Elefante Travel, we may be required to transmit such information (including your name and address) about you and your purchase to booking/payment processing partners, the tour operator, the airline or any other travel product or service provider involved. While Elefante Travel makes every effort to ensure respect of your privacy, you understand that for the purpose of verifying the mentioned information Elefante Travel may choose to disclose it to a third party assigned the task of verifying the information provided as part of your file.


4. About Health

We provide tours to a few countries in the world. You agree to assume responsibility for your own health and safety, and we can not guarantee your safety at any time. Local conditions, including road conditions, infrastructure, medical care, safety and security may differ significantly from those found in your country. At any given moment there are also likely to be “trouble spots” in the world in terms of communicable disease outbreaks, war, terrrorism, crime, Acts of God and other potential sources of harm. We strongly recommend you to buy travel insurance before you leave from homeland.


5. Delivery Documents

After you have reserved your trip on the web site Elefante Travel will promptly email you an invoice confirming your purchase and details of your itinerary, including e-tickets, contact details of local providers, timing details etc… Reception of this invoice constitutes your final opportunity to verify the accuracy of the information that will be entered on your travel documents. Please contact Elefante Travel immediately upon receipt of your invoice if you note any discrepancies, failing which Elefante Travel shall not be liable for any errors or omissions related to your booking.


6. Payment Methods

%30 of the travel products and services you reserve must be paid at the time of the booking. Balance payment must be paid 45 days prior to the starting date of your tour. Your representative will send you a payment plan when you decide to make a purchase. Payment can be made with your credit card or with bank transfer. For credit card payments we always send you a “Credit Card Payment Form” then ask from you to fill required areas and send it back to us with a copy of your identification. Only with this written form you can make credit card payment. Bank transfers can be made by you through your bank account. Please consider the transfer fees of your bank in case you choose bank transfer option.You agree to comply with booking terms and conditions whether or not you have manually signed an invoice or receipt. Booking of travel services constitutes a contract between the customer and Elefante Travel.


7. Cancellations

We understand that cancellations may happen. In case of cancellations we will apply the policy below; Prior to arrival: 45 days or more %10 of selling price 44-30 days %30 of selling price 29-15 days %50 of selling price 14- 0 days %100 of selling price Please note that flight and ferry tickets are not included in the above cancellation policy. We buy your domestic flight and ferry tickets after you complete your booking to secure availability and not to be affected from theprice increase. In case of cancellation, penalties up to %100 will be incurred regardless of the above cancellation policy.


8. Flexibility&Unused Services

You acknowledge that the nature of travel requires flexibility and acknowledge that you will permit reasonable alterations to products, services or itineraries by the Travel Agent. The route, schedules, accommodations, amenities and mode of transportation are subject to change without notice due to unforeseeable circumstances or events outside the control of the Travel Agent. No reimbursements, discounts or refunds will be issued for services that are missed or unused after departure due to no fault of the Travel Agent, including your removal from a tour because of your negligence or breach of these Terms.


9. Validity

All dates, itineraries and prices of Tours are subject to change at any time and the current price will be quoted and confirmed at the time of booking. You acknowledge that you are responsible for keeping up to date on the specific details of your Tour and any other products or services, including, but not limited to checking the Travel Agent’s website at least 72 hours prior to departure as minor changes may have been made after the time of booking.

Limitation of Liability

Elefante Travel expressly disclaims all liability for the use, reliability or specific features of this site or the content or interpretation of Content contained in this Site. A visitor who uses or makes decisions based on information contained on this Site does so at the visitor’s own risk. In exchange for using this Site the visitor agrees to hold us and our subsidiaries of affiliated companies harmless against any claims for damages arising from any decisions that the visitor makes based on such information or any use that the visitor makes on such information contained on this Site. While we have tried to provide accurate and timely information, this Site may contain inadvertent technical or factual inaccuracies and typographical errors.
